6" Hexayurt Foil Tape

This is the perfect tape for reinforcing your filament taped seams on your Hexayurt to protect the tape from the sun for long-lasting performance and durability. This tape is made custom for Reno Hexayurt.  

With a Hexayurt's construction, there will be exposed filament tape, this is where you would use this tape. This thick foil tape will act as a protection over those seams to prevent the elements from breaking down the tape. It as well strengthens the units and makes it darker inside for better naps in the afternoons. 

Aluminum Foil Tape combines the powers of aluminum and tape. Each roll is made of high-tensile, 2-mm thick aluminum foil with a removable paper liner. Each roll weighs 3.7lbs.

Generic use: This tape allows you to tackle demanding jobs that other tapes simply aren't designed to handle. The acrylic adhesive coating uses a venture tape cold weather formula, meaning it can be applied at low temperatures - and will adhere at all temperatures. With the inherent flexibility of foil, this tape especially shines when used on irregular or curved surfaces.

Aluminum tape can be used for applications such as vapor barrier protection, waterproof sealing, and heat dissipation. With 6" wide aluminum foil tape, you can cover over and seal the seams in a Hexayurt.
